Corridor and lobby renders

Typical corridors, elevator lobbies and building entries, rendered so finish and lighting decisions can be made once.

The typical corridor

In a multifamily or hotel building, the typical corridor is one of the most repeated spaces in the project. Carpet, wall covering, door color, hardware, signage and lighting are chosen once and installed on every floor. A render of that corridor, built from the real plan and finish schedule, is where those choices get checked together: whether the carpet pattern fights the wall covering, whether the doors read as one rhythm, whether the light reaches the far end.

We model the corridor at its real width and length, place the doors where the plan shows them, and put fixtures where the reflected ceiling plan has them. If the corridor has a window at one end, we light from it; if not, we light only from the fixtures.

Elevator lobbies and entries

The elevator lobby on each floor and the ground-floor entry are where a building shows its character. They usually carry the feature finishes: a stone or porcelain floor, a wall treatment, a statement light. We render them at eye level from where a resident steps out of the elevator or walks in from the street, since that is the view that matters.

Questions

Can you render wall protection and corner guards?

Yes, if they are on the drawings or the finish schedule. They change how a corridor looks, so it is worth showing them.

Do you show room number signage?

We can show signage as blank or generic plates in the right positions. Final sign artwork is up to your signage designer.

Have a corridor or entry to show? Send the plans, the finish schedule and the lighting plan, and tell us which spaces you need.
